You obviously knew it was wrong. But at the time, did you favour economic reform, as much as you favoured political reform (and perhaps religious reform), in your liberal ways?

If you still don't understand, then could you please explain what it meant to you being a liberal white under Apartheid.

Nope, merely driving my car down the road. I was behind a bakkie with three black okes inside and one sitting on the roof, there was a another road that flowed into this road we were on (you have to yield to enter) and a taxi was approaching. The dude in his bakkie stopped, the taxi stopped and they proceeded to have a fat conversation. Meanwhile five cars are backing up behind me as I sat there waiting. I just shook my head as someone started hooting and the dude sitting on the roof started off in Zulu and then ended with "what what what? 'you fscking white schite' looking at me and gesturing. I indicated right and passed the stationary bakkie after which the driver accelerated up my ass from a stationary position and all of them giving me the finger and shouting schite, thought I was gonna get shot for a second.

I'm definitely a racist just for being behind them. I hope that c**t fell of the roof somewhere along their travels.

Sorry to hear about that incident of road rage .
I've seen a taxi driver get klapped by a carfull of plain clothes police officers after giving them lip having parked in the middle of the road.
