I'm so bummed

Who says "naughty bits" lol :D

I don't want others! As per my indication I don't pick up every woman that comes along. I found one that I actually like and am stuck until something happens one way or the other. The problem being, as long as I am thinking of her I probably won't notice anyone else coming along!

You're right about that one. I was so stuck into this one girl that I didn't notice the others. I found an awesome chick (even better than the one earlier that I wanted to marry *sies*) and after I made my peace and got over the other one (thats the hard part)

I flirted my little ass off and the girl was like "wtf, you LIKE me" and blushed. Blushing is good.

I can make anyone blush. Even blunomore.

I have just come to a sudden realisation that I can't be alone anymore. I used to be so good at it, but now I want someone there, be it work people, friends or that special person. How did that happen? Who wants to go get beer?

I shall refrain...

What was wrong with the advice from the previous thread? How long is she gone for BTW? Is it not maybe time to move on? If you feel this strongly about her then you honestly have to be open with her about it - its a daunting thought but regardless of the outcome, it will be a weight off your shoulders mate...

I did tell her the truth. And the outcome was: she is not going to be able to have a relationship in the traditional sense at least until her studies are done next year. We cannot live in the same city at the same time. We're going to be friends in the interim - and that leaves me with bugger all reassurance. She does sms constantly all day, and that gives me a little more peace of mind.

Right now she works her ass off from 6am-2pm every day - so in reality there is little time. Maybe the December vac (eventhough we'll both be working) might deliver a little sanity. But for now, this is all so new to me its causing me to pull out my hair and shout obscenities at my dog.

Dont blame the bitch (dog I mean)..:D

Well sounds like its for the best then. Long-distance relationships just dont work. The don't! Remain friends - you don't need reassurances that way. Might be tough hearing about the new guys in her life but thats a lesson in life that we all go through. and we all get through it as well, as will you.

Trick is to move on in your head. Posting emo here (:p) just makes it worse. You need to meet the next Mrs Outta_Luck...:D

I was just building momentum. Though apparently I'm not built for this kind of situation. Usually there is a few speed bumps at the beginning of any relationship - but this is a damned mountain!

May feel like a mountain, but then you have to ask yourself whether you are in fact making a mountain out of a mole-hill...;)

As much as that is one of the most over used cliches, you're probably right. But the inner workings of my mind? Well someone forgot to leave me with an instructions pamphlet, I guess :/
