So I got my wife a Canon 60D , it looked nice .... so we on our first holiday in 7yr ... I take it out for like the 2nd time I've used it and don't know how to take a photo ... hahaha, noob

Just put it on the green box and fire away until you're used to the the way it handles. Then start fiddling with the knobs

@OP - RTM, then read it again. There are plenty of tips in there. Then head out onto the internet and watch as many tutorials as you can. Digital is awesome because mistakes won't cost you a dime.

I found that CA mode where I can disable the flash ... woohoo. Man I love the speed of this thing, especially on that multi-pic option .... got a nice fast little SD card and man o man!!! \o/

You can disable the flash in any mode other then greenbox and the creative modes - portrait mode, sport mode, etc - affectionately known around here as the "idiot modes"

I've got one, love it but can't wait to go full frame in addition to using the 60D.

At the Canon Roadshow they said there might be a shortage due to the factory where they make the screens being flooded.
