iMac G4 - What is it worth?

I have a Apple iMac G4 (the iLamp one with the amazing screen arm) which works well and looks and sounds great, but I do not have a use for it. It is an ex-graphic design computer.

Specs:

• 1.25 GHz PPC G4
• 768 MB DDR Ram (upgradeable)
• OSX 10.4.11 (can do leopard)
• 17 inch 1400X900
• ge Force FX5200
• 3 USB ports (+two on keyboard)
• Monitor port
• 2Xfirewire 400 ports
• CD/DVD burner
• 150 GB hard-drive
• Bluetooth
• Internal Mic and Speakers
• External Pro-Speakers (Harmon Kardon) - round transparent ones
• USB Apple Pro Keyboard and mouse (transparent one)

It has the following (genuine) software installed:

• Illustrator CS
• Photoshop CS
• Adobe Acrobat 6
• Indesign
• Adobe Version cue
• Macromedia Dreamweaver MX
• Macromedia Flash MX
• Freehand 10
• Apple works

What do you guys think it is worth? I have seen some quite over-optimistic pricing here and in the gumtree classifieds.

I would not pay for something that old (some people give them away) but there will be some suckers out there.

You may find someone who wants it for that - some people just cannot move away from Freehand. BTW, "installed" vs "bundled" is two very different things. If someone does an OS reinstall, the lose all that software UNLESS the boxes come bundled. And if the boxes do not come bundled, there are those that would say you are selling pirated software - like some shifty operators used to do with Windozers - install one copy on thousands of machines.

Yup, it is old, but it looks good and feels nice and fast and works so well, it seems a real waste to just trash it.

The screen is pretty nice too, maybe I should use it as a large photoframe or something

There are people who would buy it - but almost because they don't know that there is better computers available.
If you have the actual software on CD's (as mentioned above), well then it actually is worth something.
So, I would say about R1000 for the iMac, and another R1500 if the software is legit.
