iMac repair: where

Have they moved? Used to be in Paarden Island not so long ago?

Tried that, cost a fortune and nothing was repaired. Hoping for an alternative.
 
Whoops... Paarden Island they indeed be.

Have repaired a couple of MacBooks and iMacs for a fraction of the competitions costs... and all still working without issue.

The last iMac (2013 model) had graphics failure... R8900 repair quote from Digicape... R4500 via Dennis and no issues since.
 
Yup can also highly recommend Dennis.

But OP what exactly is wrong with it?
 
Erratic startup. I've gone through the usual SMC reset etc, but problem remains. Fine once it's on: I can put it into sleep mode and it will always wake from that. Dennis had it for a few hours and gave it back to me saying problem solved. Got home, it wouldn't start. He suggested I bring it back to that he could run diagnostics.

I was a little annoyed that I had paid something like R1200 for, well, nothing (no disassembly).
