Hi,
I have a 24" IMAC Core2Duo, the 1Gig of ram is not enough for me.

How far can I upgrade and what kind of memory modules must I buy to upgrade to 3 GIG?

First check your system profile and see how many sticks you currently have. 1x 1gb or 2x 512mb?

Incidentally, the ram (PC2-5300) is the same as the MacBook and MacBookPro.

...and you get it from any computer shop, you need not get from za store, they will rip you off.

Indeed - I got mine from compusa for a fraction of what apple or zastore charges. :)

Andy, check on Kingston's site for the product code for the specific replacement module for your iMac (if you want to go the Kingston route). I did, and it cost me less than half of the zastore price
