Are they worthwile? I am using the telkomISP 3gig version and want to maybe move to imaginet?

On which backbone do they run? How are their speeds?

thanks

Go for imaginet mate. I've never looked back. Some pros are:

1) Fast, efficient service (account within 1/4 hour of asking)
2) Great speeds
3) Cheap

I'm not sure what backbone they operate off but I swear I've never had speed issues.
Yah well enough of the sounding like an advert :D

As far as I know, Imaginet are offering the normal SAIX accounts. I don't have any personal experience with them, but from what I've read on MyADSL, they seem to be pretty good.

Have you considered Web Africa? R199 for 30GB until the end of October. They also offer SAIX accounts and offer excellent customer service.

Well another "+" is the CEO (I think) of Imaginet is on this forum and therefore he can respond to your queries fast and efficiently.

I've never had a complaint about imaginet, and I've had both ISDN and ADSL accounts with them.

There staff is friendly, and they always follow up

I have changed from Mweb to imaginet and so far can only say that the experience is much friendlier and happier. Unfortunately though, all resellers do sit with the Telkom problem and it would help a lot if they can stand together and help to rid us from the draconian institute!

I have a 30Gb Imaginet account!
They are great we got the account and had our domain setup in no time!!
Whenever we had any sort of problem they were very friendly and effiecent (Can't spell this morning forgive me if it is wrong!).

Also they respond to emails very very quickly!
Go for it you won't be sorry!

Remember, TI-3GB is "unofficially" runs to 6GB before being capped...

landed up paying R5000 for 4 months usage on 10gb account with them. got abit carried away with R7 per 100mb after the cap thing. they dont warn you you've reached your cap it just runs on so be careful with that otherwise service was good
