iMessage fails on vodacom?

Gaah dammit, iMessage just doesnt seem to work anymore using 3g, fine on wifi, 3g just tries to send forever.
Anyone else winning?
 
has the same problem on saturday -- restarted the phone and the messages went through....
 
WhatsApp works 99% of the time, even when i'm on crap edge.
