I would like to know whether there are payment options that clear immediately for Capitec clients. I can't find any directly from them, and I have a payment that I need to make as soon as my salary shows, hopefully today. It needs to clear before Monday, the 2nd of March, but it normally takes 2-3 days with a normal EFT.

Thanks in advance.

Most of my ETFs from Capitec ot the other banks show sometime the next day, only long ones is after 9am on a Saturday, might only show on Monday. No immediate payment option on the internet banking side.

Ah thanks, that's good to know. However, if I only get paid tomorrow, it'll need it to still clear tomorrow.

Do you know if there's any way to get like a clearing receipt for when an EFT does in fact clear?

I do not know.

If it was me, I'd either be logged in and transfer over just after midnight or whenever the funds reflect as available.

I'd transfer it over as soon as my salary gets paid in, which won't be just after midnight - either today, or in about 24 hours.

EDIT: OK, so it's today. Thus I can make the payment tonight when it clears.
