Import Duties on iPhone

Hi, I bought a second hand iPhone for $180.

How do I calculate the import duties that I will have to pay on it?

Got it from some guy on an online forum.

I heard theres some weird formulae to calculate duties. Like converting to ZAR then adding the custom duty for electronics then adding VAT to that?

im not sure import duties apply to something like a second hand phone.. but i could be wrong
