I see it can flip 180° which could be handy when being pulled over by the po-po and they try solicit a bribe. Or do you think the 135° viewing angle isn't enough to see out of the driver and passenger windows?

I use a 1080P SJ4000 camera as my dashcam. Bonus is the package includes a waterproof housing and about R800 worth of GoPro compatible accessories. R1799 from www.actionsportcams.co.za. Sweet.

It comes with a little square mount that contains the GPS unit; the mount sticks onto windscreen and the cam easily clips on and off. The micro-USB power lead connects to the mount so it can remain permanently attached. Spare mounts with and without GPS are available - will get pricing.

Woke up today to find an email from the manufacturer in Shenzhen that they can only dispatch our order on 27 January 2015. This means they'll only land around the 30th, so we'll know final price in the first week of Feb.
