I knew it would eventually reach the point where the MTN menu options are so complicated that it is no longer possible to just buy non-expiry airtime. Every product manager of every useless MTN product has managed managed to insinuate his irritating unintelligible product brand name into the MTN menu to the exclusion of what the customer simply wants... airtime. I am investigating Afrihost as of today.

Let me know if you need any help.

We offer data and airtime topups. You can manage all that via the Afrihost app and we give you 1GB free for the first 3 months after that a R30-1GB topup is required to claim your 1GB free.

You know you can just do it via your banking app.

The menu travesty at MTN is likely due to the employment of marketing managers who acquired high-sounding diplomas at state funded institutions whose qualifications are based solely on attendance registers and equity. Never is a book opened or a real world problem solved before these half-wits with grandiose titles ruin companies and waste customers' time.

Tell me where to go.
