Improving my router signal

Hi there all, I would like to improve my reception on my B315 router, I only have the 2 external antennas that I got with the unit, I live in an area where there is signal, but it's very directional, in one part of my house there is no signal, but I get a signal when moving it to another part.
However, the signal isn't the strongest.
So, I'd like to know if there are any DIY ways, or maybe a good external antenna witch I can use to maybe get a little more extra signal?
Any help would be appreciated.

Tip: Small movements left and right ( router not the antenna's ) and pointing in the general direction of the tower, it helps, but is not a magic bullet....

Also - keep your antennas at a 90 degree angle in relation to each other ....

Thanks for the tip, I have installed open signal on my IOS phone, but I can't seem to sea where the closest rain tower is. Oh well, just have to experiment.

Yeah - move it around your house - run LTEVIEW on your laptop - from that connect to your router by its IP address, and then see where the signal is the strongest - usually that is the direction of the tower. Then make small adjustments from there by moving it ever so slightly left and right till you get the best signal.

Sometimes placing the modem a bit higher also helps. The fewer obstacles between the modem and the tower, the better.

Yeah, that's obviously first prize, but then you need to know where to point it to.

In my pro sketch above ? LOL , no that is an attempt at drawing the two paddle antennas on the back of a LTE router/modem

Hi all, I haven't tried anything yet, I was in contact with Poynting, but I am in a rural area, so still have some arrangements to get a suitable antenna, receive the products and set everything up.
Will update you guys as soon as something happens.
