In a recipe what does "ds" mean ?

i doubt you'll want to add a dessert spoon of pepper to that.

I would also say Dessert Spoon since that is a common English Cooking Abbreviation (probably carried over to India as well).

But that sounds like an awful lot of Black Pepper!

Its a black pepper spinach quiche. Lol. Just add by eye. Cooking doesn't have to be as precise as baking.
