I'm looking for a pair of in-ear earphones for my Ipod but all the reviews that I've read say that the apple ones aren't that comfortable :( So any suggestions as to what ones I should get

You get two types of Apple headphones. The standard iPod ones, and the higher end in-ear range (they cost about R400). The R400 ones are great. Good sound, comfortable and everything.

Other than that - get the shure headphones. They are a little expensive, but the best set I've used (and I've used alot of premium headphones)

I am using Sennheiser CX300 with my Nano 4G, not bad. Someone on the forum suggested you can get the re-branded ones under Razer's name for half the price at around R250 a pair.

Thanks for your replies.
I'm looking for some for about R200 so I'll give the CX300s a try.

I saw the higher end ones going for R250 but they don't look that comfortable.

Get the Razer M100s - they are the supposed rebranded Sennheisers. They're around R250. I got some last week and I'm really impressed.

Thanks Postman will give them a try, what shop did you get them from?

I got them from Frontosa.

I see you're in Cape Town. I'm probably going through to Frontosa next week, so I could pick some up for you if you want. PM me.

Go to Incredible Corruption... Ask for white earphones from Phillips... They are private in-ear earphones..

Thanks Postman.
I'll go see the ones at Incredible and then I'll PM you if I'm still interested.

I'm currently using Griffin Earthumps (in-ear with 3 different ear-mould sizes to fit correctly) got them from Kalahari.net a few months back, but don't know who else stocks them - sound is really good...

HATE them:mad:

Twas I who said that the Razer M100s are rebranded Sennheiser CX300s, which they most certainly are.

I've read only good reviews abou these and have loved them. They come with 3 sized ear thingies, and an aeroplane adapter. They also come with a nice soft pouch, with space for the earphones, adapter and a Video/Classic iPod. I bought mine from Sybaritic: http://www.sybaritic.co.za/store/product_info.php?products_id=11492

i just bought myself a pair of m100's online now, hope they are good :) well they sure as hell should be more comfortable than the standard ipod earphones.....

when i brought a dell laptop i got given creative in-ear earphones they work well with my ipod(good base and excellent noise reduction). But the pressure that builds up in them gets irritating after a while.standard ipod earphones are terrible dont like them at all.

Oh yeah, I found them to be very comfortable, I think the ipod ones are crap and hurt my ears.
