So my stock samsung earphones stopped working and I am looking for new ones.

I need noise cancelling ones with good quality

Budget is about R400-R500

Any suggestions are welcome even if its slightly out my budget

They're overpriced in our market, should come in at around the R350 mark instead of the R500 mark. Those Takealot prices are crazy, I bought mine for R500 a few years ago.

Well, considering that we don't get Klipsch, Beyerdynamic or Shure in this country very easily, the price is fair.

They're overpriced because we don't get Klipsch, Beyerdynamic or Shure in this country. That being said I still bought a pair (well, actually three, my sister and the SO both got a pair from me).

Agreed.

But because they are Sennheiser, they could command more, up to Grado (or a local comparative, Beats ) price levels, because there isn't a direct competitor in the middle to high end IEM space here. Sad, really.

I'll go buy myself another pair for that price. Mine is now... 4-5 years old, and they still sound awesome. Love them.
