In game vioce chat??

I got myself a headset with a mic how do i get this to work.

1 - use something simple to test that your mic works okay, I used skype to test. (Search for a contact called echo or echo123 ... it records you and pays you back to you).
2 - In WoW - Options -> Sound -> LOOK FOR THE VOICE TAB .. IT'S ON THE BOTTOM OF THAT SCREEN.

Now, hope that it works for you, cos a lot of peeps say it doesn't.

+1 for Vent. However, you can host the server if necessary (not ideal, its best to have a dedicated machine).

One of our Guild members is running Ventrilo from his server. He's busy to upgrade it to Vent 3.0

Vent 3.0 you can change volume on your side for other players on the Vent channel. So if they are to load you just tune it down on your end

Download the client, and hook it up to a machine you have spare. You need a website address/IP dedicated to it.

I don't want to be the one hosting the server, it will cause havoc with my BF2-time.

Yep, my ts server sits on my web box in a datacenter, that def helps, but before that I used to run in on my pc over dsl

I don't use it a lot as some of those Brits have a really bad acent that I find hard to understand lal

My gran had a really broad accent so tbh I have no problem understanding most brits, cept the guys from Yorkshire.

But then again I don't think they have t'internet there or have heard of computers

Don't get me wrong, I do understand them, but on vent with a whole 25 man raid its easier if they type what they want to say to me 25 Brits talking at almost the same time gets kinda hectic for my translator xD

Speaking to them in a party (5 people) isn't a problem. I love the Welsh accent our main tank has
