I am clueless to say the least

who do I set up my BB - my internet used to work now it don't - recieved my phone yesterday.

Bluetooth doesn't work, I know you go to music and then press the menu key and recieve files through bluetooth or something like that.

E-mail I don't have the option to choose between create or add an email adress
and
i want to use work email account with Blackberry Enterpise Server
I only have the last option

What is the Blackberry Enterpise Server?? :(

I tried it but it oly picks up our ADSL telkom modem??

LOL I think I need a course :erm:

PM number please. If you dont have the setup email option in your menu then it sounds like your BIS is not enabled. Also, remember that for you to use BES at its full potential your company actually needs to have a BES server installed. Have you confirmed this with your IT department?

Thank you very much I eventually got it right to set up a email adres @mobileemail.vodafonesa.co.za

we don't have a IT dep at work small company so we have normal ADSL - as well as at home.

I still don't get my bluetooth to work I have paired with another phone go to music, then click on reciece using bluetooth but it keep on failing - do I do something wrong?

Yikes it's bad to struggle like this, and I didn't think of myself as totally technology disabled:(

I have PM'ed you. Please post here if this resolved your query? VodacomData will bitch slap me if I we keep secrets from him....he sure does like being kept in the loop hehe (love you long time VD) :p

Remember to select "receive via bluetooth" on your blackberry first. Then send the file over from the other handset. Your blackberry will then ask you to enter a key. Enter 000. The phone you are sending the file from will ask the same. Enter 000 again. Sending should now start.

If you do not have a IT department then I am 99.99% sure you dont have a BES server and therefore subscribing to the BES service on Vodacom would be a waste. You can still get you work email though. Just need to ask your email provider for settings etc. For Pop3 accounts you will need your username, password, incoming and outgoing server.

Let me know if you come right.

Regards:

IT WORKED THANKS A MILLION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MWAH
