Im in complete shock .... as a long time enemy of teklom , the events of the past few days have left me gobsmacked.
We are moving shortly and I have to cancel my adsl line , the area we are moving to doesnt have it yet( farming area north coast) anyhow i phone and get told to send a fax .. normal mess around , I ask the okie for a number that I can phone to confirm that they have recieved the fax and I manage to get hold of angeline who turns out to be a real sweetheart .. she hasnt received my fax and gives me another number , i duly refax and 2 minutes later she phones me to tell me that she has received the fax and the line will be disconnected at the end of the month, She asks me what else she can do for me and I ask her if she can possibly organise to have my line transferred to where we are moving to , no problem says she , simply send another fax which i do , she phones me back confirms my details and assures me that everything is sorted and they will install the first week of january ......Now I promise you guys I AM honestly taliking about teklom here.
BUT this isnt all , our work phone was giving grief , i phoned reported the fault amd THE NEXT morning the tecchie was at my office to sort out .....
This is Durban BTW .... I just dont know if ill ever recover from the shock
