The incidents page started off as a good idea but what has become of it? Has there not been issues for the past 2 days? How come there is no information about it on the page?

I still dont have my bandwidth back :(

I have noticed that they have been telling ppl phoning the helpdesk that there is a problem and that it will be resolved withing 3-5 days and also that this incident will be posted on the Incidents page. The first post was seen at apporx 10:38.

It is now 12:47 and still no updates on the Incident report page.

I think they would save themselves a whole lot of trouble if they just stuck it up there... it would at the very least bring down the number of calls to the helpdesk!

dude you cant even see the iburst page if you use another net connection besides iburst... its a 502 bad gateway...

This is so crappy... All i ever wanted was reliable broadband... Telkom looks mighty attractive right now.

WBS ... the golden rule is to keep clients informed as to what's going on.

Things go wrong, that's life ... However, when a customer complains that there is something wrong and gets told by support that it's "just them" and subsequently learns via MyBroadband that many others have the same problem they go APE SH*T.

An uninformed client receiving poor service is a bitchin' and moanin' client and they will inevitably cost you money.

So avoid uncessesary generation of primitive hominid faecal matter and follow the golden rule KEEP YOUR CUSTOMERS INFORMED*.

*Within a 2 hour window of things going wrong.

because they have learnt from the best (Sentech). If you deny it for as long as possible the problem goes away... oh wait thats your userbase..

You're right, if your user base is 0, you dont have any complaints :D

Hmm, I assume the incident page everyone is talking about is
http://www.iburst.co.za/networkstatus2.php
If so, then I can see it fine from Sentech. No 502 error
