I would not do that.

I do that all the time, have not had a problem.

But of course it is your risk if you try it.

Those microUSB connectors are all standard, with a 5 volt output.

BTW I use Huawei mifi's. What brand is yours ?

Just check that your original charger has the same output ie 5 volts, 1 amp

Yes, its the Huawei charger that came with the free Mifi from Afrihost.
The Sony Ericsson charger is 850ma 5V.

5v is 5v....... the Afrihost supplied charger is a 1amp which is decent and better than some cheap chinese phone chargers I have seen. It will charge anything from a blackberry to a Samsung S range phone....

Likewise...... ANY cellphone charger with the correct usb end will charge the mifi. With my first MTN mifi I always leave it plugged into a cheap chinese charger which is only a .5AMP. This charger is useless at charging phones as it has such a low amperage but I like that it is gentle enough to keep the mifi plugged in permanently....
