Are the OP sure that wasn't just a tip added to his bill? Maybe he paid with something like Zapper which does that automatically by adding 15% tip to the amount.

We have just eaten at Tashas at Nicole Way and they did exactly that as well. Food was good but hit us with the 15% Vat on top of the menu price. Not sure what to do at this point. PSY

844 Google reviews of the place and nobody seems to have noticed prices exclude vat, which I am sure many would have noticed. You sure?

I don't think a chain restaurant as big as Tasha's would try get away with this, they would get in trouble within days. You don't **** around with VAT, SARS will come for you chop chop.

The OP seemed like a fly by night type place.
