Incorrect ID number on fine

same happened to me

So my wife got pulled off and they fined her because of a expired licence disc.

However, the officer wrote her ID number down incorrectly, as well as our residential address.

What do we do in this case?

I got a written fine in Feb for skipping stop street which i stopped at story for another day.... however when i search notice number it does not come up on paycity or viewmyfine system also my id number is incorrect on the written fine.

i haven't received anything in the post.

What do i do?

Get your car's licence renewed so that you don't get another fine and forget about the rest.
For all those self righteous people: The law is not about what is right or what is wrong; it is a matter of what is legal and what is illegal.
The fine that has been issued does not comply in that it has incorrect information. This information was captured by a peace officer and it is not a true record of fact. Since it is blemished it will have no relevance in court.

Since they have the incorrect address they can't serve a summons and they won't have any luck if they do an id search.
