Hi Everyone,

I made a booking for two cars to have smash and grab film applied.
Everything was done via e-mail. I clearly stated the car models and the different shades to be applied on each model 50% on one vs 35% on the other.
The car was originally booked for Friday coming, but the lady informed that they have earlier openings available, so I decided to use those (One yesterday and the other today) and got someone else to take the car as a favour (this was communicated with the bookings clerk).
So the first car goes in, exactly as communicated and it comes back with the incorrect shade 35% instead of 50%.

Now they make you sign a release form stating that the correct tint was applied and further changes will be done at your own expense, this was e-mailed to me (signed by the person who took the car).
I have e-mail proof of my booking, with the clerk confirming the two car models and the shades to be applied to each.

Since this form has been signed, do I have a case in requesting it to be changed. The car in question does not belong to me, my car is going in today.

I will make contact with them after 8am.

Take a copy of your email with you and tell them that the first car wasn't picked up by you.

These stories always amaze me - if you buy S&G through us and are not satisfied, we change it to something that suits you.

Print your emails, with the stated requirements as well as the email stating that you will not be dropping off and fetching the vehicle.

They need to replace to the required tint that was originally requested.

I don't think it has reached being a story yet. I'll give them a chance to respond first, if they refuse, you sir, may be amazed:D

@ToxicBunny I've made contact with them now. Let's see what they have to say. Will update.

Not yet. The lady I dealt with is not in today. So I will be contacting them tomorrow again.
