When are we going to see a bit more coverage? When I signed up in 2004, my part of Weltevreden Park was maked as "partial" coverage, with full coverage planned for 2004. When I check on the zone locator now, we have zero coverage, with none planned. We have a usable signal provided the modem is in one particular position, but it would be nice to have a decent signal.

Good luck on getting a reply. I waited with money in hand to hear from them about when a tower is going live. 3 weeks later and not even a FU email. NADA. I dont do business with bastards like that.

If you want to do business with someone and they don't get back to you in at least 24hours they're gone. I'll take my business somewhere else.

There's too many ISP's out there to sit and wait for someone to reply when they feel like it.

I'll say, go for another option then.

Service in this country of ours is below bad.

AMEN! Im going to try and get MTN something tomorrow. Just not sure what exactly im going to get. And it depends on how much the sales person knows. I wont put up with crap service. I just wish all South Africans were like that. Imagine what would happen if everyone stopped using a provider because they give shyte service? The survivors would have to be pretty jacked up.

Its a South African thing...people here eat cold food in restaurants because "ag man its one of those things"

Did you know?

Did you know? South Africa was rated BELOW (yes below) Ethiopia in Internet Connectivity. Even Mozambique, one of the poorest countries in the world have better internet connectivity. I've been to Maputo, they have 2 Wireless (WIFI) ISPs, Two 3G (sentech like) ISPs and 1 Cable ISP, plus some smaller ones. The cable ISP is offering 1mbit connections for 300ZAR a month, and i tested it, you can download at 120kbytes/s. Now, South Africa, beeing the most rich country in Africa, should lead the way. I thinks this state of affairs with the internet is slowing South African Development alot. In Portugal for example, you get adsl 8mbit/s (yes, 8mbit) for 400zar/month, flat rate, no caps. Ah in Mozambique, there are no caps, you can download as much as you want. PEOPLE, WAKE UP, start demanding!
