My view has always been to complain about poor service, but at the same time give credit where it is due.
My Netgear router is set to never disconnect the iBurst modem from the internet. In the past, the iBurst modem used to "lose" the connection to the base station, causing the router to have to reconnect to the internet. Now I check the router status twice a day, and always noticed that the connection uptime was never more than a few hours old.
Lately (I would venture to say in the last month) I have noticed my connection living like more than a week at a time, which tells me one thing which is that the iBurst uptime has improved a lot in my area (I connect to the Benoni tower) and for that I want to give iBurst the thumbs up. Well done and keep up the good service!
I think the increased network performance and uptime, married to an improved future cost effective service offering from IB would definitely make it a preferred ISP to me. I am really looking forward to seeing some more bandwidth for the same price, and added value services (like free OS updates...hint Shaun, remember our chat?) that will put iBurst on top of the pile.
My 2 cents.
