Increasing download speeds using Vodacom Broadband

I am currently using a 1.8mps HSDPA-3G modem(I think thats the term).I ran a speed test.During the day I am running at 0.06mps at night after 12 I can sometimes reach speeds of 1-1.4mps.Is there a way of increasing download speed?
