Hi

What is the point of increasing the TX output of a wireless router? The obvious answer would be that you get a better signal but that is not the case with me...

I tested my signal with 28mw output and then with 65mw.... There was no difference...

Is increasing the TX output supposed to improve signal quality?

TX is you transmit power, so if you up it you will have better transmit signal. The speed wont be affected cause your RX would still be the same.

If you need to speak to your girlfriend which is 5m away from you, why would you like to increase your own mws? Do not shout, some rule with wireless...
