Increasing your upload speed...possible?

Hey guys,

Is there some way to increase my upload speeds?
I can't handle this 386 ***** anymore...I always have to stop one thing or the other fails...

384Kbps upload speed?

Telkom is in the process of upgrading all DSL 4Mbps users to 512Kbps upstream (apparently, they will be done by end June). There used to be a Telkom employee frequenting this forum who would be able to bump people up to 640Kbps upstream (but was not always able to get people to 640Kbps, some, like me, only managed 512Kbps, others he could not help out at all), but he has since left Telkom...

What I meant to say was: he was probably the only guy that did an excellent job and they let him go without offering him more to stay
