Thanks. I have a feeling I will need it.

The two upsides of IC is 1) they often have the best price on certain laptops and 2) they actually have stock on hand.

But everything else about them makes me queasy.

I think you will be fine.

They are aware of their *** image and are trying to improve it.
Might be even better buying from online IC as you won't have to deal with the dodgy retarded salesmen.

It arrived today, which is pretty efficient. And it's the right colour (unlike the one I got from ComX which had to be sent back.)

They phoned Monday to say delivery would be today. And they phoned again today to confirm. So all-in-all, a very good experience. So far.

The other upside of IC) I could use my credit card. ComX required an ETF.

I have been following IC for years, since they started with Software Connection.

In my view, one of the great missed opportunities, they could have been much more than what they became.

Maybe they can make the online thing work, but in my view it will require a lot of hard work.
