incredible connection uncapped quality

I have recently got an Incredible connection 2mbits uncapped adsl account

I am getting between 0.2 and 0.3 mbits on speedtest during the day, pretty much unusable...

this is with a star rating of 4 or 3 stars

Is this normal for an uncapped account, recent adsl subscriber...

I have tried emailing them A few times but get nothing more than sidestepping from them

As i understand it shaping should be done to different protocols, this seems more like severe throttling to me

any advise with be much appreciated

You should be getting speeds of about 0.25Mb/s.
0.3 is actually very good.

Yes, 30KB/s is very fast

No. Those incredible accounts are super cheap. And with adsl you get what you pay for.

I only have the best to say off incredible connections uncapped account, i have the 2MB as well and so far for this month I've downloaded 177GB which im not complaining about one bit. So it takes a bit longer to get what i want so what!

I have the exact same issues on the same package.
Testing using Axcess free 3gb, I get speeds of 3.2 Mbps.

Should I look into getting a different uncapped package or get data for usage during the day?

Are you going to stay with them or get something else, its very frustrating that basic internet is slow

I'm guessing here but I think the R99 package was designed for after business hours usage instead of during the day. I get good speeds during the weekend as well.
If you don't do any downloading get a 10GB capped acc for R50 for AH.

Checked them out, also noticed you have a link to open web (An Account that works with Twitch!)

I have a Web Africa Business account.

If you don't use things like Twitch and Netflix you might as well save the R100 and take the Axxess account. If streaming is important to you then take the Web Africa Business account.

Just remember that 1Mbit is 1MByte divided by 8.

1Mbit = 128 KBytes
1MByte = 8Mbit
