Hallo is there anywhere in North Joburg where I can maybe find puri a kind of Indian bread. The more Westernised places look like they only sell rotis and naan?

If you are in Midrand, stop at Kara Nicha's/ Rama's in Midway Mews. Nagiahs in Midrand also sells them frozen.

If you are referring to paratha, then you can normally find them in the frozen foods section of most Checkers (close to the pizza bases). I have found plain and onion parathas there, but have yet to source my favourite: peas paratha.
