Indie BMW tech - VANOS expert

Hi,

I am having some ongoing niggles with the VANOS on my BMW. My usual mechanic seems to be having some hassles and I was wondering if anyone knows a good indie I could try?

I tried the BMW forums but the local ones are dead as hell, maybe someone knows an active one?

have you heard of Achmat Achmat, he used to race BMWs at Killarney

his son is Iderees, works on BMWs, he specialised in M3s at the time I was in contact with him

they based somewhere in Grassy Park, any self respecting BMW enthusiast would know who they are

I've been out of the game for years though so I've lost touch with most of the people.
