Hi guys

anyone have any experience with them

R799 for a 20Mbps uncapped link sounds pretty good, especially since you then don't have a R189 Telkom line also. Making it cheaper than a similar speed ADSL/VDSL setup.

Whats their true uncapped (as it seems everyone have a small print, soft cap still)?

Excellent question, i have seen a lot of them and read some of the FUP and AUP and some are a little "grey"?

Had a email chat, apparently no shaping... no Throttle, no soft cap, and their uncapped 20Mbps line is not crazy expensive either...

Well apparently they can do normal ADSL/VDSL also. so they are already a option :) and with a constant 2Mbps the entire weekend from ISP X I might just be one of their shortest clients after leaving Telkom for something better which apparently seems it was not.

Then you still have to pay for your telephone line?

And I can guarantee you that it won't be unshaped and unthrottled.

hehehe, well then they can fight their own email, where I have it in writing now... no shaping, no throttle.
and hell, I'm not even one week in on ISP X and I'm throttled to 2Mbps. I have more than 50% of my day time and night time cap, so...
How to tell customers you don't want them...

Well actually Telkom announced today that they are finally going to be removing the line rental charge from ADSL! its about time!!

They not removing the cost, they removing the line item on the invoice. The cost is just going to be bundled into the ADSL line cost, so expect the ADSL line costs to all rise by R189/month.
