Info Needed on US players connection

Hi

I just switched from 3G to ADSL (not very happy about it). Installed 384 line - ISP Webafrica on an Unshaped account. I'm getting alot of disconnects whether I'm runnnig around on an Alt in Old World or doing Heroics on my main.

Getting a bad reputation as a player who dc's as soon as he gets into an instance (thinking of making a macro explaining my situation that triggers as soon as I say Hi).

Basically what are the rest of you using in terms of line speed and ISP. And what latency are you getting?

Take it that you literally "just" switched over in the past day or so?

I know about the SAT3 cable that broke (Between Bellvile and somewhere, SA has been routing all network VIA the US).

I requested the DSL convertion on the 6th of January, been using it since the 9th. Got confirmation that it is activated today (mmm yesterday at 16:00).

It's been on an off since the break, sometimes you get normal pings then it just spikes up to 2k for 15-20mins and then back to normal.

Normally get between 300 to 600ms from Durban. Using Afrihost normal account at the moment. From the Hillcrest, Durban area.
