Sup peeps..

I am looking to get my house networked.
All I am looking for are "Installers" that you guys have good experiences with.

Basically cabling in and around 5-6 rooms, measuring approx to 100M of cables.
I am looking for someone to do a clean and neat job at an affordable price.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Why dont u just go wireless?? Can't get any more neater than that.
Also it's easy to setup DIY & you'll save moola :D

I'd also go for wireless - a lot cheaper and no cables to wire up. Its not as fast as 100/1000 wired but unless your transferring some hefty files around you wont need that speed. Also with it correctly setup its pretty secure.

I've got wireless setup already. But I am at the point where I need the speed. Cant cope with the slow speeds.

Just out of interest, what do you need lots of network speed for?

You can always go for 108mbps wiresless - I know if you have matching surecoms or the new matching netgears you get dual 54mbps, ie 108.

Me - for my streaming to my media center 54mbps is more than enough. I dont even use half of that. :)

Just saw an even newer netgear article - apparently the new "Maximum Wireless Coverage" goes up to 300mbps!!

Need to setup multiple DNS,VM's,VPN's sandboxes on Virtual Servers.. Lotsa copying around of Virtual hard disks... and copying 10-20 GB of data over wireless can definately be quite painfull.
