I'm considering applying for the M-Net channel but I can't find any info on either the M-Net or Multichoice websites on costs involved, etc...?

Can anyone point me in the right direction? There is plenty of info on the different DSTV packages but I cannot find any info for anyone interested in getting only the M-Net channel.

There is no DSTV Mnet only offering. Do you have an old analogue decoder?

I think that they are phasing out Mnet(analog)... AFAIK you can't buy the decoder any more.

+1. That's what the guy who installed my dish said. Something about analogue signals and such. The old decoder had to be hooked up to an aerial...you'd be hard pressed to even find an aerial these days let alone an old M-Net decoder.

At the moment, there is no MNet only option available for you. They will have a digital terrestrial service available in the near future. Don't have any confirmed info yet.

I just can't find a cost-effective way to get my weekly rugby fix. Thanks for the info folks.

Do you know where Hatfield is? There are many bars there where you can pick up a beer for +/- R10, then you can watch the game. Very cost effective. You pay R10 to watch a game, and then you get a free beer. If you watch 1 game per week it comes to +/- R40 pm. And that includes +/- 4 free beers. Amazing system!
