Need some info regarding DMCA notices and VPN's etc please

Hi all


A bit new on the forums and first time poster. (Not a total n00b :D)

Just wanted to find out a bit about using torrents, zbigz and VPN's seeing as I got my first notice a few weeks ago.
Subject was downloaded using uTorrent with peerblock and cancelled before seeding much.

I came across http://vpnium.com now and using speedtest and iplookup all seems fine. (Showing location as Luxembourg at max line speed)
Is VPNium safe? I know not everything can be hidden, but it is always better to make it harder for them :)

So just wanted to find out if it would be better to use VPNium and peerblock together or just maybe zbigz.

Thanks for the quick reply, I'm using @lantic. And I thought people don't really get notices in SA
 
It's up to the individual ISP. Generally they don't bother ...

Unless they're Axxess/Afrihost, Web Africa or Mweb. Then they gladly send it along. OW probably prints it to be used as toilet paper.
 
So just to make sure, can they do anything? (Like suspend my account, or force me to pay for anything?)
and if it happens again, what do I do? Just ignore them?

They can do nothing, they're not legally binding in this country.
