Hi there, as the title suggests I'm looking for some advice regarding mobile broadband solutions which have been tailored for small-to-medium business.
Currently our organisation is relying on Internet Solutions (IS) Mobile Broadband (aka "IS Mobility") [http://www.is.co.za/OurSolutions/Connectivity/Pages/Mobile-Broadband.aspx] and while this solution works OK once configured, we are growing increasingly dissatisfied with the logistics around the provisioning/replacement of data SIMs, stagnant pricing and monthly data bundle expiry. One of the attractive features of the solution us the ability to pool data bundles so these may be shared between users (some use more, others less) but this is quickly defeated by an arbitrary "200%" limit imposed on each user, after which out-of-bundle rates are applied even though the pool isn't exhausted. Queries as to whether this would be amended, prices revised or data bundle roll-overs introduced have all been met with dismissive recommendations.
Personally I am fed-up with IS and would like to make a move to a competitive solution provider. Does anyone know of or currently use a mobile broadband solution similar to IS Mobility which provides a central management console (web-based) for user management and reporting? Ideally the solution would allow choice in network provider (we currently use Vodacom) and keep abreast of current market trends, e.g.: data rates, data bundle roll-over, etc. Extras such as Wi-Fi access, etc are not important as our users operate in rural areas.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Byron.
