information required on RAS setup with 2 ISP's

I'm wanting to set up RAS with ADSL as well as Iburst connection. I want to route to specific sites on each connections.


RAS is running on win2003 and the server has separate nics for internal LAN and DMZ. Currently it only has adsl in the DMZ, but the idea is to add iburst.

Any advice most welcome.

you need a new gateway device, ie cisco router $$$ or mikrotik routerboard 500

i prefer RB500

and then just setup routing on it, plug one connection in eth1, other connection on eth2, and have eth0 go to your server2003. you can even do pppoe/pptp on the RB500 aswell, so, the RB500 can become your VPN server with radius support, etc....

configure IP packet and port filtering for the internal and external nic's in RRAS. Time consuming but easily done. the NIC's will then only listen for those services it has been configured for.
