So I have inherited a lot of these. One of the documents I figured was pretty important. It was the marriage certificate signed by Paul Kruger. My ultra great grandma (English) married the dutch family (Oranje). Apparently Paul Kruger had to sign off all those marriages. Ive taken that to the local museum and passed it onto their care (hope I did the right thing, but they seem jacked up and I have family academics working there).
Now I have loads of others, including autograph books, WW2 related stuff, opinion books (these are way interesting and I might share a couple of scans of them), marriage certificates etc etc etc.
Whats the best way to preserve and store all of this? Right now I am digitizing the whole collection but how else should I manage this collection?
