Hi All,

Be wary of Initiative Q invitations. I generally buy around under R400 crypto per month (not a lot, but willing to do that) and that's about my sum total of being involved with crypto in any format.

Last night I got sent a message by a friend with a link. It involved investing in Initiative Q, which is being touted as taking on the banking community and payments by some guys involved with PayPal.

Initiative Q - Wikipedia

I gave it a read, saw MLM and won't get involved at all. Just a heads-up if you get something like this...research it first and then decide.

sad that what most people associate in their minds crypto with Ponzi schemes,

when its purpose is entirely different,
Who knows. I will give it a bit more of a read, but at the moment I don't like (and have never liked!) the whole signing of others on. If it was simply to make them aware, then awesome.
Until such time, I will invest the little I do as a side project by myself.

Use it/don't use it. I just raised it here.

Much like Pi this popped up for me about 2y ago and I did a few up and down invites, grabbed 11k 'coin' or so on and then never bothered much after. My wallet is still on my phone with it in. Won't mind if it does the intended $1 they stated they aiming for, but hey, even a few cent will be nice. If it turns out to be meh then I guess I can finally delete it

Don't ever be hesitant to offend criminals and human scum ;)
They do not deserve your, or anybody's, consideration
Haha, for sure. So many people defend the other side, and a lot of subtle abuse and suggestion does the rounds. Been told I apparently have an issue with things on the forums too (guy appears to be a psychic, but wrong) so I thought I'd keep this one clean.

I won't get involved in this. At all. Or any MLM.

this, best option.
all MLM is a scam.
Ja, I have been reading the MTI threads a lot, and have noticed some of the terminology...staying well away. This is free...there will be a catch somewhere along the line!
