Injustice: Gods Among Us PS3 1.02 Patch update issues

I'm having no luck updating my game to 1.02. The update keeps timing out. It's not that big a file (200mb).
Info on the connection:
Telkom 2mb Line, estimated download time 20-25min
I've tried both wired and wireless.
I've tried the PS3 Proxy GUI method which has worked on bigger downloads in the past (http://www.ps3blog.co.za/guides/how-to-download-game-patches-and-updates-via-your-pc/)
I've tried using my iPhone as a hotspot, but standard hotspot can't connect and MyWi (jailbreak tweak) keeps crashing and rebooting my phone.

Any help is appreciated.

Retarded as it seems I'm replying to my own post with a solution. Just fixed it.

Turns out MyWi kept crashing because it clashed with other tweaks, so I basically disabled every other tweak temporarily via SBSettings.
I also ran MyWI with the most basic settings possible.

This is nowhere near a fix, but hey its a workaround.
