INR home test kit ?

Struggling to buy one here in SA.
Wife starting on Warfarin but I will really struggle to get her to Pathcare or Lancet...
Any ideas ?

There is alternative medication as well, that does not need the blood tests every few days. Just take one pill every day. Problem is it is not covered by Medical Aid and it is expensive. But it is an alternative. Think the name is Xarelto, you can ask your doctor.

Discovery is paying for my Xarelto. My cardiologist had to motivate for it as Warfarin wasn't working for me. It is very expensive, about 1K for a months supply. Clicks offered me a generic version the last time I collected, so that might be cheaper.

Only 1 I can find sorry man. We could always start some fund me on the forum, transparent obviously and then we see how close we can get to that number?

Which Discovery plan are you on? I've been on Warfarin since August last year and would like to investigate options.

I'm also using Xarelto and it's expensive

We are on Classic Delta Network but wife is registered on PMB after 2 strokes left her paralyzed and diabetic.
They currently pay for Myoprin but we discovered Dysryhthmia during an ECG and scan on Monday.
Cardio says must have Warfarin to avoid another stroke
