Inside the angry xenophobic mob

Plenty of them are not foreigners at all but just locals. Again it's so easy to blame someone else for their failures.

The level of entitlement that anyone thinks they deserve money for waving out your car is at the core of what's wrong with this country.

I agree therefore I never support this cause at all. I only see them come running when I leave hardly ever when I am searching for a parking.

True, the SABC news crew robbers Zimbabwean. Mall cellphone robbers Zimbabwean.

So thats two cases you can bring up, what about the other thousands of cases in the same period? All ZimBoBwean's?

It's just a couple of examples of many. We have more than enough crime and criminals to deal with to have to deal with alien criminals as well.

And yet we hear the refrain "back in apartheid days crime was rife in the townships and little in the previously white areas, its not increasing in the country, it has just spread to the previously white areas, so deal with it"

And as we know the borders were much more secure in the apartheid days to keep the "terrorists" out, thus there was not a lot of foreigners, so who was doing the crime back then and why do they not do it now?

Answer me on that one. Where the pre foreigner, apartheid time squatter camps and bantustans crime free havens and we are lied to that crime was always a problem in the townships?

That is a large part of the problem of today, black people werent allowed in the country, and black people couldnt travel out of S.A. legally without major issues, so there is no history or culture of travel to and from S.A. among the local black population.
There was no cultural exchange between local blacks and other Africans, local black populations were cut off from the rest of Africa ,which means no familiarity with other Africans or cultures at the grass roots level.
Its this unfamiliarity and newness of foreign cultures that is behind a lot of this violence.
Things are bad so blame the newcomers who have different languages, work ethics and traditions.
Crime has increased due "criminal rights" and to lack of decent support for the police services, but hey, lets blaim the foreigners.
Foreign investment is decreasing due to unstable conditions and constant pathetic union actions, so unemployment is rising, but hey lets blame the foreigners for taking jobs while in fact they are actually being or trying to be self sufficient.

You are just justifying these lowlife savage attacks on foreigners? Blame your ANC gods Zuma for opening to borders and inviting everyone here. Now he bemoans the fact about illegals if he was the one that put structures in place to legalise all these foreigners.

Have you seen how mob "justice" happens to South Africans? It is no more savage than the attacks on foreigners.
African Justice

One of the guys in attendence was interviewed by radio after the king's address and said "His majesty's speech didn't really provide direction, should we allow the foreigners back into the township or not...should we beat them or what?"

I stopped at a shop here in KZN while the Dead Leopard Brigade and his minions were speaking. It was broadcast over the loadspeaker and there was no way in heck you were going to get any attention or service during the address.

Of course it didn't give any direction...

The King wants the masses to continue, but can't say it straight out really...
