hi folks. Okay so i wasnt gonna buy the OptiBay for my 17-inch MacBook Pro and had a 1TB harddrive laying around so I decided to make my own adaptor. I took out the DVD Writer (I never use) and replaced it with a Seagate 1TB harddrive - which I use as my HOME drive.

My Specs are:
Apple 17-inch MacBook Pro i5
8GB Ram
1x 7200RPM Seagate harddrive
1x 1TB Seagate harddrive

I will post a DIY on my site asap (as soon as i get hold of a camera) for those who wanna try this.

Good job! The only thing is the proper hard drive bay is the only one which can use shock protection, so it's possibly better to have your home drive in there.
