Install Mac OS X 10.7 in a Virtual Machine?

What boot loader did you use?
If you didn't use a boot loader, did you create a virtual disk from a live system first?

I know all about virtual box :)

Thanks for the link, Ill do some reading.

I personally used VMWare and followed a tutorial online. I think I might have used the Lion Hackboot iso. Give it a shot.

Otherwise i'm sure the guys on our forum would know more if you don't come right.

Another great resource - http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showforum=104

As far as I know all the latest versions of these have default menu items for OSX -- can't talk for VMWare, but Parallels does. I have the latest ML beta running on Parallels btw.

So you're running ML on Paralells Workstation for Windows? Cool

It's cool :) got a bit excited for a second there :D even though I have my shiny MBP anyways :)

I never had the need to try with a Windows platform; if you have a PC; wouldn't it make more sense to look into a hackintosh?

Btw the GPU acceleration features for Lion and ML work quite well in Parallels, but you need lots of RAM allocated to the VM -- some features are a little flaky with OSX VMs though; multi touch gestures for example will operate on your primary Mac as opposed to the VM.
