Installation on a new car mp3 system

Hi , I recently bought a car mp3/divx system, but didn't realize that installing it , will cost me as much as the unit.

Can anyone recommend a good, cheap place in the jhb area (preferabley sandton/fourways).

What will be a good price? i will need a double din to a single din adapter.

So you are removing a double dinn unit and replacing it with a single dinn?

And what car?
 
have not looked recently on ebay. but when i got mine like six yrs ago it was R600! And when I looked a couple years ago they were R500 in SA.

I need to get on ebay more often. If only I had $$$ these days :(
 
do i need a specific plate for nissan ? or a generic one will work?

2 places quoted me R650 for the plate / Harness (I think that's what it's called???) , and installation , is that reasonable?
 
Yeah R650 with plate, installation and harness is pretty good. Normally harness could be abt R200, plate 1k, installation 600...
 
Tremor audio been very useful and will only charge me R350!!!

I will go on sat and give you guys feedback.
