Installers in JHB - Allignment cost

Can anyone recommend me a decent installer?
The guys I'm calling are giving me a quote of R500?!!
R500 to hop on the roof and allign...really ?

I tried doing it myself but I'm hopeless.

Please advise.

How did you try to allign/pan it?

For terrestrial microwave, you'd normally first pan the horizontal, and then the vertical. Either vertical or horizontal will be more difficult - start with that one. The same would apply to satellite. Also remember that a satellite dish is not a parabolic antenna - it is an off-center parabolic. This means that the antenna itself is not going to point directly at the satellite. Finally - go slow and steady. Make your adjustments as slowly as possible. A signal fluctuates in real time, depending on various environmental factors.
