Installing a SATA HDD

I managed to plug my new SATA HDD with power & the PC seemed to detected it (popped in the corner saying Found New Hardware) ... but I don't see it in My Computer.

Im guessing a setting? :/

Help!

You probably have to initialize the disc.

Control Panel
Administrative Tools
Computer Management
Disk Management
Right click on the new disk and Initialize
Then partition and format
